Lee & Tran APLC recently recovered $1.2 million against one of the largest international banks in a fraud and breach of fiduciary duty case. The Firm's clients, including the trustee for a current NFL player and a talent agent, was steered by a bank executive to invest money in what turned out to be a Ponzi scam. The case involves investigative work by the Firm in various states, extensive motion practice, proceedings before the Court of Appeal, and numerous depositions of witnesses in California, New York, Oregon, Iowa, and Texas. In the end, the Firm was able to recover more than 100% of the money lost after a hard fought battle against the bank, represented by a major law firm.
